Debates create interesting conversation. When you go mano a mano you could win, you could lose or simply agree to disagree. In the arena of mobile phones there is a singular debate that will always rage on and it is one which may could never be settled once and for all - and that is is the Blackberry better than the iPhone? Each of these smartphones has its loyal band of followers, but if you're sat on the fence what would need to know to make you jump down and choose one or the other?
At its most basic it comes down to what you want out of a phone. Is it primarily for business or just for pleasure? The Blackberry was designed specifically for the business world and is currently the UK's best selling Smartphone. It's reliable, intuitive to use and has very many office applications, making it an useful extension of your desktop. But if you're after loads of cool features and more apps to choose from than you could shake a stick at, then the iPhone is the one of you. The iPhone is a prestigious smartphone and is essentially a complete entertainment centre in the palm of your hand. Apart from obvious things like making phone calls, picture and video messaging, you can also download music, stream video, order a takeaway, make a restaurant reservation, get directions, check the weather, enjoy games, even read barcodes and scan goods for your next Tesco shopping expedition - the list goes on and on! Truly there is an app for everything, and if there isn't then there is a good chance it's already being worked on!
With outstanding technology the touchscreen and motion sensibility of the iPhone is particularly notable. This makes it an ideal gadget for gaming and for more consumer interaction and of course satisfaction. The advanced technology of the iPhone puts it very much ahead of its competitors. Neverthless some of the newer Android phones on the mobile marketplace are nipping ever faster at their heels!
The iPhone offers more storage space, faster CPU and more RAM than does the Blackberry, but it is also more fragile. Drop it once and it is easy to shatter that fantastic super sensitive screen. However there are a number protective sleeves that should help stop such potentially costly mishaps! But the Blackberry is one tough cookie, it's sturdy and can withstand being thrown across the floor (not too literally though) or getting tossed about at the bottom of your bag or stuffed in your pocket!
If security is a deciding factor, then the Blackberry wins every time as it is though to be the most secure device currently available on the business market. Sadly, the iPhone still needs considerably more work in that area!
So which is best the Blackberry or iPhone? Well, it comes down to personal choice as to what you want your phone to do. Each phone has features which they do better than the other. If you want a slick and super stylish phone that does everything at the touch of a touch sensitive screen button, then pick up an iPhone. But if you want to get straight to business, then the Blackberry will be your best buy!
