But accidents happen, therefore you can never know when you want to make a phone call out there in the street on a rainy day and suddenly drop the device in a puddle of mud. If this occurs, you shouldn't be that concerned, and nor should you buy a new one.

* Things To Do with a wet iPhone:

2. Turn off your device. This is necessary because the electric components and currents circulating through it could react to the presence of water leading to iPhone corrosion.

1. Do not attempt to have it disassembled or opened. Water could penetrate into the parts of the iPhone which are more delicate and can easily break. Remember that you can not avail the warranty in this situation.





2. Do not dry the iPhone through the use of microwave, hairdryer or any other heating tools. The heat coming from these tools could melt the components incorporated into the iPhone.





3. Do not force into turning it on and try operating with it. You should wait until it is totally and surely dry.





4. Do not put the device in direct sunlight as this could cause problems over a large amount of time.
